Admin Center Functionality

Zendesk Admin Centre is the central place where Zendesk administrators configure and manage account-wide settings.
 

Q: Why use the Admin Centre?

A: It provides a streamlined interface to control essential features across all Zendesk products that UMG has enabled, and it also:

  • Provides a centralised view for system-wide configurations
  • Keeps security and permissions tightly controlled
  • Allows for scaling your support operations across products and brands
  • Enables auditing and compliance management

 


Overview of Admin Centre Core Functionality

  1. Account Settings
    • Company info (name, logo, subdomain)
    • Billing & subscriptions
    • Plan management
  2. Security & Authentication
    • Set up Single Sign-On (SSO)
    • Configure password policies
    • Manage two-factor authentication
    • Configure IP restrictions
  3. User Management
    • Manage roles and permissions
    • Assign admin, agent, and end-user roles
    • Control product access for each user
    • Enable group and organisation-level settings
  4. Channels Management
    • Set up and manage communication channels:
      • Email (support addresses, forwarding)
      • Messaging & Web Widget
      • Talk (voice)
